Join us on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 for an event hosted by Iranian-Canadian curator Elham Puriya Mehr about ‘Coffeehouses as an Image’ at Offing Coffee.
During this event, as part of her one week curatorial residency with Void Art Centre, Elham will present her project and warmly invite us to gather for coffee, conversation, and collaboration in mapping the city’s coffeehouses. She aims to create an archive of what is ungraspable, capturing the intangible memories and stories that have been lost over time and opening a space to activate the potentialities of these “spectres.”
By sharing personal stories, memories, old photos, and addresses of coffeehouses (even if they no longer exist), you can contribute to this fascinating exploration of coffeehouses as spaces of learning and community.
