Join us for a family workshop with the artist Zoe McSparron which uses drawing as a medium to explore Void’s current exhibition Beating a Retreat a site specific sound art installation by Cevdet Erek. The event takes place on the 17 September from 6 – 8pm.

During the workshop, the gallery floor will become a sketchpad onto which we will conduct experiments in translating sound into drawing. We will use a variety of drawing and movement exercises and tools such as charcoal, crayons and markers. The workshop will encourage us to listen closely to the sounds that we hear and create our own visions from it.

This is a drop in session but please note that numbers in the gallery will be restricted so you may be required to come back at another point during the session.
