- Printmaking Masterclass with artist Stephanie Gaumond
Saturday 6th November – 10am-1pm.
Stephanie Gaumond is a printmaker raised in Denver, Colorado amidst the beautiful Rocky Mountains and the banal suburban architecture. Her work explores patterns and coded communication. She received her BA Fine Art from the University of Denver in 2010 and her MA in Printmaking from the Glasgow School of Art in 2012 and is currently based in Derry/Londonderry N. Ireland.
During this 3 hour masterclass you will gain an introduction and insight into the practice of printmaking, explore the surrounding outdoor area of the gallery to find urban objects and create a relief print from these on a tote bag which you can take away with you at the end.
