Description
Listening to Places: exercises towards environmental composition
Over a period of eighteen months Slowtime, a Void Offsites project, evolved as a series of sound walks, public talks, and field recording exercises that invited the local community in Derry to consider the ebb and flow of the River Foyle, encouraging participant to rethink their relation with the river and their natural environment. This publication by Robin Parmar was born from a collaboration between artist David Beattie and researcher Robin Parmar during that project.
This publication encourages palatial listening and engagement with the place we stand in.
