Description

Mariner II is a powerful and profound iteration of Conor McFeely’s work that WILD TULIPS was delighted to present in 2021 in Derry. Darran Anderson’s essay connects with Conor’s work in a way that resonates, and offers receptions on what it means to be here, alive, today; messages sent, vibrations, pulses and the transmutations of energy. Om Letha’s text dives deep into the siting and embodied experience of the exhibition; a journey through the physical and metaphysical space. Also included in this publication is the light installation of Mariner at St. Augustine’s graveyard in Derry, commissioned by Art Arcadia and works from Conor McFeely’s Pioneers series 2017-19.
