Description
Sampler, a publication created in response to Aleana Egan’s solo exhibition in Void Gallery, Spring, 2022. The publication explores the artistic practice of Aleana Egan and her area of research around material culture and textiles as well as the writings of Marion Milner. The introduction text is by Mary Cremin, Director, Void Gallery and essay Clothing For Outcast Thoughts by Vivian Sky Rehberg, art historian and curator who elucidates on the act of giving shapes to thoughts, experiences and feelings through our lived experiences.
Sampler was commissioned and published by Void Gallery, Designed by HIT, Berlin. The publication is an edition of 400. Supported by Henry Moore Institute, Elephant Trust, Konrad Fischer Galerie, Kerlin Gallery.
